Many of you will look at this doll and think "Yuk", that is o.k! I said the same thing when I saw her. I couldn't stop going back for a second, third, fourth look and it didn't take long to see her with new eyes. She is a 'one off' custom made ball and joint doll designed and made by a talented artist. I have named her Mara which is Hebrew for sorrow. I can't wait to sketch her in real life! Most BJD collectors use their dolls for photography or art poses.

Mara is indeed apt. She is a mournful looking character. I do not go for those type of dolls but I can see how she would make a good model. Will you post your sketch for us?
Have a good week!
